an iterative & site-specific, multimedia performance presented at The California Clipper as part of Glimmers: Currents of Illuminations

Looking Glass, took place over the course of 2.5 hours in a crowded bar as a still life, tableux-vivant style performance that culminated in a lip-sync activation. It featured a projected, live camera feed from within the veil.

The performance was set to a live DJ set b by J.Cordova.

Glimmers: Currents of Illuminations is a circuit program of performances, panel, and video screening spotlighting Latine & LatAm contemporary art practices during Chicago’s art fair week 2026.

Spread across 2 days and 3 locations, Glimmer converges voices from Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago showcasing practices that glimmer in critical brilliance and expand the definition of visual arts today.
